Why do parents spend the extra money to send their children to SMCS?

 
Some of the reasons parents give us are because it is safe, because their children would be overwhelmed by the size of the student body at other area schools, because of the overall quality of the faculty, because their children will be able to participate in a quality athletic program while they might not have the opportunity at a larger school, because they know their children’s friends and parents, and especially because of this school’s commitment to teach every subject within the context of the Christian worldview.
 
SMCS is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is also a member of the Association of Christian Schools International which shows that we take education seriously. However, we are just as serious about helping parents launch young adults into the world who know how to think Biblically so that their thoughts, motives, and actions will be such that they authentically serve others and bring glory to God.
