Preschool and Kindergarten Information
All of our Preschool and Kindergarten programs from daily from 8:00-11:45am. The K3 program (for three year olds) and K4 program (for four year olds) is either a 3 or 5 day program (parental decision). Kindergarten (for five year olds) is a 5 day program. For those Preschool and Kindergarten students who need to remain later than 11:45am, we provide an After School Program for an additional cost.
The After School Program (ASP) is available for students in K3 through 6th grade. This program includes supervised recreation, study, rest, reading, snack times, and other creative activities. The ASP follows the same school calendar and observes the same holidays and off days as SMCS. On scheduled half days of school, the ASP begins at noon. Registration for ASP is done on Orientation Day. Prior to any kindergarten child utilizing the ASP, whether frequently, infrequently, or emergency, a notarized affidavit must be on file. This form is available on Orientation Day, where a notary will document your signature. This form allows us to comply with state regulations.
