The Our Legacy, Our Future capital campaign was launched In 2015 with a working goal of $1,050,000. To date, we are thrilled to announce more than $750,000 in gifts and pledges from the school board of directors, faculty, families, alumni & friends. The capital campaign funds will directly support the purchase of the new facility which includes 40 acres, space for up to 600 students, 45 classrooms, media center, gymnasium, computer labs, fine arts space, cafeteria, athletic fields and fieldhouse.
SMCS will become "HERITAGE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY" ON July 1, 2017. This new name pays tribute to 40 years of heritage in Christian eduation and the legacy of our school's founder, the late Richard "Dick" Vignuelle. Pastor Vigneulle often quoted Psalm 127:3 "Children are a heritage from the Lord, His offspring a reward from Him."
We are inviting everyone to play a vital role in the Our Legacy, Our Future campaign. Please contact Christy Ethridge, Campaign Coordinator by phone: 205.978.6001 for more information.
